Pet Care / Pet Sitting Application

I enjoy spending time with animals and caring for them in a calm, attentive, and responsible way. While I don’t have formal professional experience as a pet sitter, I’ve had long-term personal experience caring for animals throughout my life. From childhood until 2023, I cared for my cat, which gave me many years of hands-on experience with daily feeding, grooming, monitoring health, and understanding feline behaviour. I also had a rabbit from around 2013 until 2025, which taught me additional responsibility and consistency in small animal care. Over the years, I’ve also looked after fish and birds in my family home, which helped me become familiar with routine care for different types of pets and their specific needs. While I have not owned a dog myself, I’ve had regular exposure to dogs through people close to me. My ex-partner had a dog that I occasionally helped care for and spent time with, and my current partner also has a dog that visits from time to time, where I’ve provided company, supervision, and general care under the owner’s guidance. This has given me a good understanding of dog behaviour and basic care routines, even though I am still building direct experience. I would describe myself as patient, observant, and calm around animals. I pay attention to their needs, routines, and comfort, and I take responsibility seriously when it comes to their well-being. I am motivated to continue gaining experience in pet sitting and animal care, and to provide reliable, attentive, and trustworthy support to pet owners. :) Kind regards, Kimberly
